==================================== OBJECTIVE OF THE TIPPING COMPETITION ==================================== The objective of the FIFA Men's World Cup 2026 Tipping Competition is to accumulate the highest number of points of all participants in the competition. Points are awarded for correctly tipping the handicap-adjusted outcome of all 104 matches in the FIFA Men's World Cup 2026 tournament. Bonus Points are also available in circumstances as outlined by these Terms & Conditions. ================================ 1. DEADLINES AND SUBMITTING TIPS ================================ 1.1 Matches to select are grouped into "tipping rounds" of no more than eight (8) matches per round. 1.2. Selections (hereafter, "Tips") for matches that have not yet commenced can be submitted and changed prior to the time shown on the Fixtures & Tips screen at https://worldcup.onlinesportstipping.com (hereafter, the "Tipping Website") for each match. Times shown on this screen are in the time zone as selected on the My Details page. 1.3. When submitting Tips, players in the tipping competition (hereafter, "Participants") are required to submit a Tip for every match available for selection within each tipping round where: (a) the time shown adjacent to the match has not yet passed; AND (b) the tipping competition organisers (hereafter, the "Organisers") have allocated a handicap 1.4. For matches where a Participant has not submitted a Tip before the time shown for the match has passed, the Participant will automatically be allocated the team listed second on the fixture list at the Tipping Website for that tipping round. ==================== 2. MAKING SELECTIONS ==================== 2.1. Prior to submitting a Tip for a match in a tipping round, the Organisers will apply a handicap to each match. Once allocated, the handicap for each match is shown next to each match's team name on the Fixtures & Tips page at the Tipping Website. 2.1.1. The Organisers reserve the right to delay finalising the handicap for a match until after earlier matches in the tipping round have commenced. Matches whose handicap has not yet been allocated do not accept Tips. Tips can still be submitted after the tipping round commences for matches whose handicaps are finalised closer to their match time. 2.2. Upon completion of the match, the team showing a positive handicap (that is, marked with a '+') has this handicap added to their match score to become that team's handicap-adjusted match score. The team showing a negative handicap (that is, marked with a '-') retains its actual match score as its handicap-adjusted match score. 2.3. A Participant's submitted Tips reflect who they predict will win of each match: (a) At the conclusion of regular play (90 minutes plus injury time, excluding any Extra Time, and excluding any Penalty Shoot-outs); AND (b) According to handicap-adjusted scores as described in Section 2.2. 2.4. No tips for a draw can be submitted. Match handicaps always result in each match producing an outright winner when the handicap is not a whole number. 2.4.1. Should a match handicap be set to a whole number, and the handicap-adjusted match score for both match teams (see Section 2.2) is equal, all Participants score half the points available for selecting a winner for that match. 2.5. Participants submit Tips by selecting the "Fixtures & Tips" page on the Tipping Website. For each match, a Participant chooses the team they predict to be the handicap-adjusted winner (see Section 2.3) by ticking the box adjacent to the team name, prior to submitting all such Tips in the tipping round for recording. ================= 3. TIPPING POINTS ================= 3.1. A Participant scores points based on the results of each match in the tipping round. The breakdown of tipping points awarded is as follows: - Correct Tip for a handicap-adjusted winner during the Group Stage, Round of 32, and 3rd Place Final: 4 points. - Correct Tip for a handicap-adjusted winner during the Round of 16: 6 points. - Correct Tip for a handicap-adjusted winner during the Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and Final: 8 points. - Handicap-adjusted match scores finish equal: half the points available for tipping the winner. 3.2. A Participant scores bonus points when all their Tips are correct for a round containing four (4) or more matches: - Three (3) bonus points are awarded if all Tips in a round containing 8 matches are correct. - Two (2) bonus points are awarded if all Tips in a round containing 6 matches are correct. - One (1) bonus point is awarded if all Tips in a round containing 4 matches are correct. - Bonus points are not available once the tournament reaches the Semi Finals stage. 3.3. There is no "Double-up Round" feature in force for this competition. 3.4. PRE-COMPETITION TIPS 3.4.1. Before the final match commences in the first tipping round, Participants are asked a question which has a numerical answer. The answer itself is both unknown at the time of asking, and known at the conclusion of the competition. 3.4.2. Each Participant's answer to this question is used to resolve ties at the end of the competition. Participants who answer closest to the correct answer are given outright precedence in the final standings (that is, they finish in a higher position) compared to those tied on the same score as them. See Section 6.4 for more details. 3.4.3. Before the final match commences in the first tipping round, Participants are asked to select the team they predict will win the FIFA Men's World Cup 2026 tournament. A correct selection will score six (6) points, which are added to their total points shown at the conclusion of the competition. ===================================== 4. POSTPONEMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS ===================================== 4.1. If a scheduled match cannot be completed at or near its originally scheduled date, for whatever reason (such as, but not limited to conflicting match assignments from other competitions, adverse weather conditions or other "Acts of God", terrorism, pitch invasions or crowd violence), the Organisers reserve the right to mark the fixture as Postponed. The Organisers will communicate the impact of all match postponements to the tipping competition in a timely manner. 4.2. In the event that the FIFA Men's World Cup 2026 is cancelled before it commences, or before the completion of the Group Stage on June 28th, 2026 at 12pm Australian Eastern Standard Time, all entry fees will be refunded. The cancellation of the competition after this time will result in prizes being paid as per the tipping competition standings at the time of cancellation. ============================== 5. PAYMENTS & REGISTRATION ============================== 5.1. The entry fee for the competition is $45.00. 5.2. Payment of the entry fee must be received by the organising committee by June 12th, 2026 at 5am Australian Eastern Standard Time. Methods of payment are available from the My Details page from the Tipping Website. 5.3. Registration shall close once the payment deadline expires. 5.4. A Participant's failure to deliver payment of their entry fee by the closure of registration (See Section 5.2) will result in the suspension of their tipping rights and eventual removal from the competition subjec to immediate delivery of their entry fee. ========== 6. WINNERS ========== 6.1. At the conclusion of the tournament (considering Condition 4.2), prizes are awarded to Participants based on the positions nominated in a defined prize list (to be announced via email). The tipping competition is expected to complete on July 20th, 2026. 6.2. Prizes will be awarded to a number of Participants who finish at the top of the overall tipping competition standings. There will also be a number of "novelty" prizes for finishing on a position nominated by the organisers (subject to Section 3.4 and its subsections). These prize amounts will be confirmed also via email. 6.3. The total number of prizes - and the finishing positions to which they will be awarded - will be finalised following the closing of registration (see Condition 5.2) and subsequent confirmation of the final Participants. 6.4. Participants are required to submit an answer to a numerical tie-break question prior to the Round 1 deadline, which is used to break ties in the tipping competition standings at the end of the season. Of those participants tied for the same position, the participant whose answer is closest to the final answer will finish highest in the standings. Note that depending on the prize breakdown, the best performing tipster in a tie-break may not win a prize if the tied positions cover a prize position. For example: * 3 participants are tied for 24th, 25th and 26th positions. * There is a prize for 25th position only. * Participants A, B and C have tipped 30, 40 and 50 respectively for the tie-break question. * The actual answer for the tie-break question is 37. * Participant B's tie-break answer (40) is closest to the actual answer, and therefore finishes in the highest position available: 24th. * Participant A's tie-break answer (30) is the second-closest, and therefore Participant A finishes 25th, * Participant C finishes 26th, with the most distant tie-break answer (50). * By finishing 25th, Participant A wins the prize, despite not having the best tie-break outcome. ============================ 7. ORGANISERS ============================ 7.1. The Organisers of Men's World Cup Tipping 2026 are Braam Smith and Scott Coppock. They can be contacted on worldcup@onlinesportstipping.com. The Organisers reserve the right to appoint additional Organisers during the competition. ================== 8. NEW REFERRALS ================== 8.1. If registering with World Cup Tipping for the first time, you will be required to identify who referred you to the tipping competition. Upon registering for the Men's World Cup Tipping Competition, you will also become eligible for others to select you as their referrer. The first email you receive from the competition contains a link that you can provide to others so that they can register with the competition linking you as their referrer. 8.2. The first five (5) participants to each refer three (3) or more registered and paid participants into World Cup Tipping who are new to OnlineSportsTipping.com competitions, will each receive a gift card for Stan streaming services (including Stan Sport, the official Australian broadcaster of the English Premier League) valued at AU$60.00. 8.3. The following conditions will need to be met for referers to be eligible to win: (a) Referees must be new, unique participants who have not participated in OnlineSportsTipping.com competitions previously. The organisers have ultimate discretion in determining whether a registrant is "new". (b) Referees' and referrer's entry fees must be paid by the deadline specified in Condition 5.2. (c) Only referees that have paid their entry fee by the deadline specified in Condition 5.2 will count towards the participant's referee total. (d) The later of the time of the receipt of the referrer's own entry fee, and the third (3rd) entry fee received by their referred participants, will be the "eligible time" at which a referrer becomes eligible to win a prize set out in Condition 8.2. If there are more than five eligible referrers, the five with the earliest "eligible time" will be the winners. (e) Maximum of one prize per referrer. (f) The referral-winning participant cannot be an organiser of the 2026 Men's World Cup Tipping Competition (see Section 7).
